The Legend Of Specialized USB Sticks And Cold Hudson
Would you have known that when Captain "Sully" Sullenberger dumped his plane in the Hudson River that four specialized USB drives would make history.

This was all a surprise to Vicki. One day a package showed up. In it were her favorite shoes, the novel she was browsing through at the time of the disaster and her four USB drives.
She didn't really expect much of them. In any case, they had been in the water for some time. On a lark, she plugged each of the promotional flash drives into her computer system. Lo and behold, every one of them still worked and all the data was still readable.
While the laptops and other electronics did not enjoy a similar fate owing to their many moving parts and sensitive parts, the flash drives made it through the accident with flying colors. Not a single set of data had been dropped by the four drives.
While any manufacturer can tell you how durable and virtually indestructible custom USB drives are, Vicki's four flash sticks are a testament to their rugged design and proof that they can survive virtually anything nature or even man-made conditions can throw at them.
"I was sure there would be no way I could retrieve any of this information but I got every bit of it," remarked Vicki. "That's amazing!"
