Old School Meets Modern Times Thanks In Part To The Canon A1100 Powershot
I had a few reservations while I was thinking of picking up the Canon A1100 Powershot. Let me to explain. I'm what you might consider "old-school." I grew up hearing to timeless music: Al Greene, The Doobie Brothers, The Eagles, etc. My photos came from rolls of film, so it seemed a little scary for all of my photos to come from a plastic chip. I took the plunge at any rate, and I really must say I'm very happy with my Canon.
The Canon A1100 Powershot is super easy to use - even if you've never previously owned a digital camera. This camera snaps pictures right out of the package; and the automatic picture setting (in addition to somewhere around 9 more presets) makes it that much simpler. If you're new to digital photography, start off with the camera's Easy mode -- it makes all the choices for you. When you're comfortable taking pictures you can start playing with the other settings.
All of my photos so far have been absolutely incredible, thanks to the auto-mode. Even after enlarging them up to eight by ten, the pictures are still just as sharp as cut glass. The software that's packaged with the Canon Powershot A1100 is very easy to use, too. It remembers the photographs that are already downloaded to your PC and won't upload duplicate images.
At first glance, the control keys looked a little scary. After I really looked at the switches and their labels, though, I realized they weren't complicated at all. If I did get lost, there is a user guide that's relatively easy to read. Thanks to the Canon A1100 Powershot, old-school meets new-school. 21st century, here I come.
