Pick a position where you can be perfectly still. Some peole find that simply lying down flat is best. This is alright as long as you do not fall asleep! Most people of course adopt the customary crossed leg position and find it comfortable as their meditation posture. Any of these positions or anything in between is fine as long as you are going to be absolutely still and comfortable although not asleep.
Step 4: Ease Out The Stress
Once you are settled down, focus on which part of your body is most tensed. Now tighten those muscles, hold them and then release. Experience the release as the tenseness begins to drain from your body.
Step 5: Just Remember to Breathe
Oddly, while gently exercising muscles, many people forget to breathe properly. Actively focus on breathing through your nose. By doing so, you may notice that your diaphragm, abdomen and lungs expand more. Once you start to do this regularly, you will notice that these exercises really help clear your mind and body and improve your brain power.
